The MarCEP—innovated by Ethos and engineered and manufactured by Mustang Survival—features a robust, flexible, fully seam-sealed, watertight nylon shell. A reinforced bottom panel and abrasion- and tear-resistant attachment and tow points protect critical areas during transport across harsh terrain. A full-length waterproof and airtight zipper facilitates patient entry, while the Si Tech® Quick Neck system allows an appropriately sized silicone neck seal to be installed in the field.

Sized to accommodate a casualty wearing operational kit, the MarCEP rolls or folds for transport in a rucksack and is optimized for use with SKED systems. Its integrated rigging is configured for foot-first towing and can be adapted for head-first transport. Reinforced attachment points support multiple towing orientations and vehicle integration, while shoulder attachments allow an attendant to secure themselves alongside the system and monitor the patient in transit.

Pull-activated exhaust valves at the shoulders and feet work with a combination octopus/inflator regulator to support buoyancy management and provide a supplemental air option based on the mission profile. MOLLE panels and removable cylinder and weight pouches allow breathing equipment, ballast, and other mission-specific equipment to be positioned to maintain patient trim below the surface.
