The low-profile Tactical Side Pouch Inflatable Flotation Assist for Special Operations provides flotation with minimal bulk or interference. Each independently-operated pouch contains 35 lb of buoyancy for a combined 70 lb that automatically inflates when submerged in four or more inches of water. Users can attach the PFD to a standard or padded LE belt, Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS) webbing, or Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment (MOLLE) vest.

Description
The Tactical Side Pouch Inflatable Flotation Assist is a versatile solution for users who require emergency flotation. The Hydrostatic Inflator Technology automatically inflates when submerged but not inadvertently due to rain, spray or humidity, and the stabilization cap (patent pending) protects the inflator and ensures its performance in the most demanding environments. When needed, the manual conversion cap disables the automatic function; pulling the beaded handle will still inflate the bladders. An oral inflation tube provides backup inflation or emergency in-field deflation of the bladders.
This PFD is sold as a pair of pouches, including both the left and right units and is available in a black or coyote tan outer shell with a yellow bladder. Use the Tactical Inflatable Side Pouch PFD with Rearm Kit MA7214 10 (two kits are required to rearm one pair.)
